Carb balancing tips?

I've bought a Carbtuner Pro https://www.carbtune.co.uk/carbdtls.html for my ZZR600D.

I'm going to try and check/balance the carbs tomorrow and was just wondering in anyone here more experienced had some tips for this?

How warm do you get the bike? Do you take it off the choke? How close do you try and get the vacuum on the cylinders?

Bike should be up to normal running temperature, choke off.

I tend to aim for all to be within 1 bar on the carbtune, actual tolerance probably allows for loads more.

when balancing carbs........................dont balance them on your nose, if they slip they will land on you feet and hurt them! lol

Honestly, they must be done with the engine at operating temp as has been said, get them as close as you can, if not closer.
It will all come down to trial and error, you will know when you have got it right, the engine will sound so much better.

I've got the bike idling without the choke at 1100-1200rpm - a little high but a million miles better than it was.
