It's proper handy to have in your pocket, and more convenient than the zumo, the big downside is mounting the thing properly though. Don't forget to preload a full UK map too ____________________ 2010 Triumph 1050 Sprint ST |

Eh, it's 100% free now if you've got a reasonably up to date handset, no reason not to give it a go imo. It's never crashed for me and the maps seem current. The older versions used to be a bit mickey mouse and half arsed compared to tomtom's software, but it's come along a long way over the last year or so ____________________ 2010 Triumph 1050 Sprint ST |

compared to my garmin, i don't really like ovi maps on the nokia,
its fine and works well, but the time it takes to locate satellites is a pain in the arseeven with gps assist on, it on average takes 2-3 times as long to come online over the garmin, as a back up or really long trips then it can't really be faulted ____________________ the humans are dead

Ovi maps are rubbish, they send you the wrong way alot, crash alot are just crap!
Ive put Garmin XT on my N97, and its much better, not as pretty to look at, but it never gets lost and never crashes! ____________________ 2009 CBR1000RR

Just found this thread. I was wandering if you can set the Nokia X6 Ovi map to where you want then just put an earpiece in and phone in pocket so it can give you instructions as you ride along?
Also lots of you are saying Ovi maps are crap so is it worth getting a reasonably new Nokia phone with GPS and getting the Garmin ones?
At present i'm using the Nokia 5140i which i dont think you can get GPS on? ____________________ Past bike: 2004 Hyosung Comet

I use an inside left pocket near my chest, its the only pocket my leathers have!
It did it with the Ovi Maps and now it does it with the Garmin maps, its an N97 by the way, I'll see if my iPhone 4 is any better when I get it. ____________________ 2009 CBR1000RR
