Can't remember what time in the vid it is but theres one car that rolls and lands on its roof (on the road, not in the grass) and you can clearly see the co-driver holding a notepad.

So i'm guessing that they use pacenotes of some description. If there were no pacenotes then why even have a co-driver?

'Tis a marvellous spectacle, but on a purely pedantic note it's not a rally, it's Pikes Peak* which is a hillclimb.

I'm a big fan of 'Monster' Tajima and his 1000bhp Suzuki Escudo - as one of the You Tube comments states, it's what happens 'when a Suzuki Vitara takes steroids'.
