This is what I invested £895 of my money and £690 for insurance:

Would you like to buy some magic beans ?

They are amazing things, and are a snip at £50 each.

I only have 100 left, but as I like you, I'll do you a special deal of just £2500 for all of them. Thats half the retail price. You will actually be saving £2500 !

Before you continue taking the piss:

1) I was on a budget, we all start somewhere

2) Insurance was 690 because I have a non motoring conviction, don't ask me why that is justified but I have been getting quotes like £1400 for a shitty scooter

Ok, theres being on a budget and then theres that. A CG 125 would have been cheaper to buy and would have been a much better choice. Doubt it would have been anymore to insure either.

Trust me I have searched and searched but I could not find a scooter with at least 6 months MOT, decent age, and because I have a conviction, insurance prices are just silly, even when I have a full car license and a clean one, too

I bought a 125 18,000 mile bike for £180 and insured it for £180 with 11 claims and 3 points Neutral

Thats why I said CG 125, e.g. not a super gay scooter.

Take this for example:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CG125-8-000-MILES-/290658639781?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item43ac9adfa5#ht_996wt_1219

You could have bought that, insured it, done your bike test and dumped the L plates and then more money off your insurance. It would also no doubt be considerably more reliable and you wouldn't have everyone else taking the piss out of you.

Any decent bikes that is actually close enough to me?? Also having a NON MOTORING CONVICTION doesn't seem to get through to you guys, getting insurance in this case is DIFFICULT. This is where I have to start off.

I was about to buy a Suzuki scooter, but only had one month MOT left on it, but the insurance was still £690 for that

Well, I just run a quote on a CG125 and my car for my current status + non motoring conviction, its added £100.

Not that bad,

It is probably cheaper for you to own a bike rather than a scooter is the general thing going on here...peds tend to be stolen a lot more.

Age 19, no previous riding experience, recent CBT, bad postcode, non motoring conviction, no NCB. It will be pretty expensive for me. Once I pass my full test, got 1 years NCB, I WILL change my bike. This one is only for commuting. No thrills.

What company did you run this through?

There is a 14 day cooling off period for insurance, so if you bought the insurance within the last 14 days, you can cancel and go with a cheaper insurer.

That could be the centre stand or the kick start poking out.

I called 2 other insurance companies and both of them offer quotes a lot more expensive than what I have now, even with motorcycles. Again, 19 years old, non motoring conviction, chinese scooter, bad post code, provisional bike license, it will be expensive for me.

Its the left hand lever...your clutch back brake. Looks remarkably bent in comparison to your front.
