Hi,

Today whilst cleaning my CBR, I noticed that some of the coolant hoses are beginning to crack slightly at the jubilee clips, which while not causing a leak right now, are unsightly and undesirable. I've been looking on the net, and found a set of Samco hoses for a decent price (£115 del'd)

Just wondering what colour people reckon I should get as the hoses can be seen in the fairing vents, so would like something that goes with the bike that is more interesting than boggo black (wouldn't be too fussed if they wee completely hidden though)

Got a few choices, red, blue, black, white or orange. Favourites so far are red or blue Confused attached is a pic of the bike, to help give an ideaof what it needs to match into Smile

Hi

Personally hoses are something to hide away and not make obvious, hence why I voted black.

All the best

I agree, anything other than black would interrupt the lines of the bike.

Seems a lot of money for a few lengths of rubber pipe.

+2

For two reasons:

1 - It's just a hose, buy the cheapest you can find and hide it.

2 - Coloured hoses are for Vauxhall Novas.

fuck off paddy Laughing It's fine, nothing a big hammer can't fix Wink

I appreciate the feedback guys, I wanted to add some colour just to brighten the bike up, but the masses can't be wrong, black MUST be the best option Smile

According to cmsnl.com the standard hoses aren't available anymore, the pricing was still there though, and added up OEM parts ended up about 80 euro, so for the extra £25ish it's worth getting ones that are supposed to be superior to standard Smile
