just got this wkd bike, needed a bit of work electics, piston n rings etc...back together now, just took the pump cover off and 2stroke p***ed out. the pump looks new for being a 91.....any ideas why this would happen? im yet to get a manual off of flebay.... cheers guys

Either the two screws holding the pump to the case are loose, or the main (thick) oil pipe is split. Can't think of anything else it could be.

thanks guys, i just found the bleed screw snaped off and the hole filled with some sort of glue, and oil was coming out of there. i was able to fit a very short screw that sat flush and tightend up, hopefully it will hold and stop the leak......wont be able to bleed system tho but as its been doing this all along i dont think it would need it.....what do yous think? thanks in advance

hi, there is whats left of the original bleed screw still in the hole, there was enough thread to screw another short screw in.....ive just had it ticking over for a while and noticed an oily residue running down the down pipe from the cylinder head end.....its not blowing tho. i had a scooter that did the same but that was over jetted.....120 main jet in at the mo

finally got the the rest of the thread out with a needle and a stanley knife blade, it was actually quite loose luckly.....i do need to know if the pump is set correctly tho... see pic, its as it is with the throttle closed and engine off....... Thumbs Up thanks

Needs a bit of adjustment - the punch mark should line up with the pin with the throttle closed. Probably wouldn't make that much difference, though.
