Datatool S4-C4 alarm problem...

I took my bike apart earlier today, including disconnecting my battery from the bike completely for about a hour.

After rebuilding the bike I now cannot turn the alarm off with either of my 2 key fobs!

The LED light is broken at the moment, the cable has snapped/ rusted and broken off the LED so I cannot tell anything by the light flashing.

The alarm has not sounded since rebuilding the bike, despite some gentle nudging but it sounds the alarm and flashes the indicators when I turn the ignition on.
It also sounds when I have removed the fuse but stops when I turn the ignition off.

Simply put the keys are not working to turn the alarm off!
(can the keys "unassign" themselves)
Any Ideas anyone?

Unlikely the fobs would have unassigned themselves.
When you turn the ignition on have you tried pressing the, i think its the grey button. Also when you "dismantled" the bike did you place the alarm in winter or sleep mode? Was the alarm programmed with a pin number?

I will go try pressing the button in a second, see what that does...

And this is my first alarm, came with the bike, but I didn't realise that it was ment to be in winter or service mode before disconnecting, although it was in service mode (luckily). but it's still not working...

Possibly due to the led cable been broke it thinks someone is tampering with it and wont disarm.

Can you repair the cable so the led is working?

Sounds like the immobiliser is armed and not the alarm, if you can nudge the bike and it does not beep a warning.

What happens when you press both buttons at the same time?

Check the fuse in the alarm. My datatool 3 alarm blew its fuse and I could not deactivate it.
