still having problems with the divvy. managed to free up the throttle sliders that were sticking by giving them a thorough clean and polish. have completely taken the carbs apart to clean and reset everything but there is still a problem. if pull the choke out, the bike dies. the bike also seems to idle when it feels like it. when i first start it up, it usually idles fine at around 1k. after a 2minute ride around the block it will sometimes just cut out at a junction. it starts again fine on the button again, just doesn't like idling.
also if i increase the idle speed using the adjustment screw the revs return much slower to a normal idle speed after revving, even with less than a quarter turn on the adjustment screw. with more than a quarter turn the revs will stick at around 3k until you turn it off and restart.
any ideas anyone. i am just about to go find the balancing stuff and balance the carbs and see if that fixes the problem. i doubt it will. but i will give it a try

Are the carb rubbers between the carb and engine perished or leaking?

balanced the carbs and still no improvement. this really has got me stumped.
anyone living in the hornchurch/romford areas fancy giving me a hand with this. can pay you in crates of beer/cash if you are able to lend a hand and get this irritating problem sorted.
