Hi

siezed is what it is and nothing is shifting it Sad
Tried a G clamp,hydraulic pressure and air.
Tried sourcing a new one but 100 quid is a bit steep.
SH ones are like hens teeth.
So does anyone know if this was fitted to any other bike ?
Or do you have one lying around ?

Many thanks

Keith

Tried everyting, hydraulic, Air, Grease gun nothing would move the jammed piston.
Finaly gave it to one of the Fork Lift engineers at work and voila he freed it all up.
At a loss to explain why it was so stuck, anyways all re assembled just need to bleed it to see if there are any leaks.
If so anybody know where to get new seals ?

Keith

Ah there you all are Smile

More tales of woe, refitted caliper.
No pressure despite copious bleeding.Fitted new master cylinder piston.
Still cannot get any pressure, occasionally feels tight on the pedal, bleed then no pressure again.
Pedal travels full stroke with no resistance.

No signs of any leaks, new copper washers fitted to banjo bolts.

Has me completely stumped ?
Willing to listen to any suggestions.

Many thanks

Keith

Try reverse bleeding it using a syringe to pump fluid back through the bleed nipple to the reservoir.
