right lads have a honda nsr 80 no spark, cdi, coil, rectiver have tried on another bike all work, have checked run button and ignition both ok, tried new plug, checked wiring, at a loss now, any help be great thanks

Op, run a wire from your negative battery terminal to the engine and attach to any metal part of the engine you can, if the plug sparks then you have a bad earth connection to the engine.

have checked all wires, have heard the generator been said before,

will try that with wire today..

try putting the bike on its centre stand , put it into gear and push the back wheel round and put a tester on the wires coming from the magneto. if you have life there then it must be wiring or a bad earth i had the same problem on a chinese bike my friend owned turned out the magneto needed replacing
