 |
|
hi, in july i bought a bridgestone bt45 rear from a local tyre shop for my cb500, it was obviously brand new and the right size but now 1500 miles later it is completly knackered, i havnt done any trackdays, burnouts, and havnt road it THAT hard. i no for a perfomance bike that might be about the norm for a super stickey tyre but on a commuter bike with a touring tyre thats just not right? , is it worth getting in contact with bridgestone direct? maybe a faulty tyre? any help would be appreciated.
cheers

yea it was all done properly, i dont tend to use the gearbox THAT much slowing down but i do get a move on sometimes.
I had a bt45 on my gpz500 and it was half worn when i got the bike, i put a further 2000 miles on it and it still had loads of life left
btw im running ohlins shocks set up fine
cheers

got any pictures of the said tyre? also you sure it didn't have a slow puncture or something? |
hi yea i already do that anyway mate.
il get a pic of it tomorow morning, theres no loss in pressure since i had it fitted. theres seems to be a band in the middle where it is bald that looks very different in colour compared to the sides.
cheers

I'd be looking at tyre pressures and wheel alignment! ____________________ The purpose of life is to fight maturity. |
