Pulled for riding one handed?

Got pulled last week by a biker bobby for riding one handed, got a slap on the wrist and told not to ride in that dangerous manner again!

Anyone else been pulled for this?
I didnt think it made much difference, i know riding one handed may not be best practise but it does give your back and shaulders a little relief on a sportsbike.

Think he was either really bored or was just wanting a closer inspection of my bike?

Makes me laugh tho, i had to ride back from blackpool - southport one night without stopping (yes i snapped my clutch cable without breakdown).
My mates all went ahead and blocked off all the exits at the lights/roundabouts... Never again, i was almost certain id get pulled or a ticket but got away with it

I ride one handed a hell of a lot, even no handed occasionally just to relax my back, gone past cops with one hand on my thigh, as long as they don't see something happen, i.e a car pulling out and you doing a stoppie because you panicked with one hand on the controls... there isn't anything they can do

To those saying 'what about car drivers', its safer in a car than on a bike if you crash due to not having control over the car.

Maybe they wanted to pull you over to make sure you aren't up to anything dodgy? Gives them a reason to pull you over, and a ice breaker as such. (rather than just pulling someone over).

I have to ride one handed a lot, because I need to adjust my dark glasses, because they ride up inside my lid, for some bizarre reason... but better that than wearing a nice safe non-moving, not needing adjusting illegal dark visor.

I could have but it would be a pain in the arse having to stall, find neutral, fire it up again and then stop a few yards down the road, especially at roundabouts etc...
Was late at night so wasnt busy on roads and i have about 7 mates with me riding that way, was quite exciting lol

It's recommended to keep both hands on the controls and to use caution when it is necessary to use one hand to adjust one's equipment/accoutrements (as with Italian Superhero VR.)
The polis was obviously concerned for your safety and offered advice.
Police bikers have that annoying habit of spending a lot of time on the road on bikes so advice offered is normally sound.
And they are not as dirty as their colleagues, those fcukers who schmooze around in four wheelers.
Top Tip:
Buy a proper bike like an R1200GS where you don't get that Sports-bike Rheumatics (Just look a bit of a twat though.)

It could be a ticket for 'without due care and attention'.
