Tent cleaning

Any know of anywhere that cleans out tents?

Mine had mould/damp in it and living in a studio apartment i have no space to clean it.

I've seen a couple of places but they are like £240.

I've only got a simple semi-geodesic 2-man tent

If its gone quite mouldy its had it from experance, time to bin it.

Nikwax do a tent wash and re-proofing soultion, which you can use by hand washing the tent in the bath tub.

How about tent in washing machine, in an old duvet cover using a delicate wash and a packet of that wash-in waterproofer stuff?

Or stick it in one at a coin-slot laundrette?

thanks will give the nik wax stuff a try on a hand wash no spin cycle in the washing machine.

Nikwax tech wash and then wash in proofer,

Do up all the zips/velcro.

Old duvet cover or pillow case for washing guy lines and anything flappy.

Soapflakes on a delicate wash.
Soapflakes won't have the kind of bleaching agents normal powder uses.

Then use a wash-in treatment and when dry spray some waterproofer on.

Ask for some TX-Direct for xmas, as only the wealthy can buy it for themselves.
