$24,000? whats that in sterling these days, and how much were they brand new? Seem to recall they were something daft like about £10K for the Original, numbered limited eddition versions, if that's one of them, it's not apreciated much in value over 20 years!
Could be a 'bargain'...... but, just as well I dont have £15K knocking around, or it would be a dilemah crisis of nervouse break-down proportion! I mean, its BUILT to be ridden, but its only worth what it is becouse it hasn't been! ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!

There was an NR750 and a VFR750F, brand new in crates, shown on here a little while back.
Pretty sure they both went on sale, not sure how much for though.
Either way I would have an NR over any form of VFR, the engine is ____________________ I am a bellend, I am a man of constant sorrow, I am a gummy bear, I am a rock. |

Oh, man, that's one nice bike. Back in 1990, when I first saw one, I completely fell in love with it, and it's still my favourite bike of all time, even now. I just think it's the prettiest bike ever.
Don't like the graphics on the tail though. Much prefer the UK "VFR750R" rather than the "RC30". Still, I guess that's the same as waking up next to Megan Fox and noticing that she has a small spot on her chin... ____________________ Ahhh, cock. There goes more money... |

Hi
UK price new was £10599 in 1990. For comparison a CBR600 was £4499 and a VFR750F was £5799.
VFR800 is now £9525, so compared to the VFR750F a 64% increase. Would make an RC30 £17400. Looks like that RC30 has barely held its new value.
Wouldn't say no to one though. In some ways still wish I had gone for one in the mid 1990s when they could be picked up for about £5k.
All the best
