hi,
to completely de-restrict you will need a powervalve unit, a a new main jet, & a different exhaust.
but 1st you need to establish what CDI you have & which carb is fitted. (phbh or vhst)
if its the older style CDI, then its simply a case of bolting the solenoid to the frame, bolting on the pv housing to front of the cylinder & connecting the bowden cable.
then plugging in the solenoid to the spare block connector.
the older style bikes came with the seperate pv control unit already fitted (its inder the rear seat)
& when you plugged in the solenoid, the circuit was complete.
the newer style CDI comes with the pv control unit combined & needs to drilled at a specific point.
the size of main jet will depend on whether you intend to complete the de-restriction (by removing the cat or fitting another exhaust) & which carb you have.
the spark plug should be either a BR10 or BR9 (if you dont red-line it continually)
there are a couple of official aprilia de-restriction guides available, but you need to specify which CDI & carb you have.
cheers,
GAZ

yes, the actual powervalve housing, blade.bowden cable & solenoid fits all years.
have you looked to see whats fitted to your bike?
seen a few that were sold as restricted & they had the pv bolted on the front & were just not plugged in,lol
you should have a blanking plate if its restricted.
remember & check what CDI you have,
cheers,
GAZ
ps : 75 quid is a bit much. (seen them go for under 50 quid or 75 with the rave box)
