Was it a xr1100 per chance?
Either way its usually pretty simple to fix.
Take off the visor and loosen the 2 screws on both of the mechanism plates (the bit the visor goes on to)
You will now notice that there is some free-play with the whole plate
Push the plates backward toward the rear of the lid and tighten the screws
Reconnect the visor and bob should be your uncle, a better seal!

Hmm.. fiddled with the vents any? Whistlings usually vents or visor.. could always try the neck piece.. stick a buff on and pad it round your neck, see if it makes a difference  ____________________ A2 Passed 18/6/10 |
