 |
|
Hi all
I am new to the motocycle scene and have always been into cars but as i have a ban on my licence i can't afford to insure my car this year.
I have bought a Suzuki CS50 Moped and have booked my CBT, managed to get a great quote of under £300 fully comp which is 10x cheaper than my car quote lol.
Any-way I am wanting to know how i can get a bit more poke out my 49cc engine as she will only do 30mph lol, I'm not wanting to spend loads of money otherwise i would of bought a bigger CC bike.
I've had a little search on the net and can't find much on the cs50 so hoping someone on here my be-able to help me out.
All help will be much appreciated |

Hi, the roadie is a bit slow aint it! they did a 70cc version so maybe try and get a top end off one of those? I did a bit of work on one a week or so back, involved cutting the exhaust open to clean crud out, so while i was in there i drilled out the baffle plates. Made a difference as it would hit 40 now, but they are still limited by gearing.. ____________________ Currently in the stable.. We had one for our moped racing, it was pretty awful and got crashed so many times due to the shonky handling!

To 2Smoke...
yeah quite slow lol but doing that with the exhaust seems to have a great effect so think i will be deffiently doing that after the MOT.
Also will look into the 70cc top end. I Know they did a 125cc version and was thinking would the engine fit on the 50cc frame??
What work did you do on your racing one?
Thanks for the advice aswell mate |
