Was average.

Is Rossi now past it?

Commentators keep going on about his injury, but any keen rider from the last generation would shrug off such aggravations. Or am I just getting old?

Bring back Superbikes on Terrestrial please.

Was definitely awesome. Next year SHOULD be good with Rossi/Ducati Spies and Simoncelli on factory bikes. I love the way Simocelli didn't give toss about Lorenzo and Lorenzo was like 'you peasant how dare you!' Laughing

It's all about MotoGP being Moto2's support class! So many heart in mouth moments for the Moto2 race. Soufogulu's shenanigans and fighting talk seem good. Smithy moving up to the class next year.

Talking about Bradley Smith, god he's grown since people started following his career all them years ago - just remember Moody and Ryder banging on about him.

Also, doesn't smith, with his receding hairline remind you of

next year should be jokes as well.

Ain't Rossi taking most of his guys with him as well?

I can see some drama forming early in the season too... SWEET Twisted Evil

I'm hoping for a three way battle between Rossi, Lorenzo and simoncelli and that's not even taking the racing into consideration! Very Happy

Had high hopes for this season though and it was a big dissapointment Crying or Very sad

The race today was good though Thumbs Up Lorenzo's helmet was a joke!! Simoncelli should have kicked him off Mr. Green

I just love simoncelli's personality! He just doesn't give a toss! Even in interviews, he always seems to crack me up.

I'm just wondering if we will get the Valencia test on BBC Iplayer because whilst I know it's being aired online, I'll be at work Sad.

Lorenzo just made himself look like a dick, what a mardy little bitch, he's not a racer, a little bit of contact or someone being aggressive he spits his dummy out.

I was laughing at the commentators taking the piss out of his helmet. Smile

"it looks like my grandmothers broach"

Shame rossi rolled over and played dead in the last 6 laps.

Was a good day of racing tbh, f1 was awesome with hulkenburg out driving hamilton for several laps, motogp was awesome with the simoncelli incident.

I completely agree! I started shouting at the TV (I do this at times!) when he started shaking his head at Simo.

Who the f**k does he think he is, jumped up little twat! Couldn't take it that someone had overtaken him, then tried to overtake back, FAILED, and almost took himself and Simo out the race.

I disslike this pea-head twat the more I see him race.

Laughing

Lorenzo gives good camera.
He's also good enough to upset Vale.
I like his riding style..maybe not his attitude or persona.

Really hope Scott Redding whoops Smith's arse in next seasons Moto2. Smith is just so....Corporate.

Love the long-legged gonk Simoncelli..elbows and knees out like Xaus Laughing

Because they are practically the same, one has a slightly bigger ego though i think.

I can't see smith doing well in moto2, he just doesn't seem the type of person to be very aggressive, i can see him qualifying well but getting raped in races.

did anyone else find scott redding piss funny when being interviewed and he said 'testing' like devvo style, the interviewer didn't know what the fuck to do Laughing

They haven't got any real beef with each other.
The both kinda operate the same way. Shy yet extroverted. Both put lots of practice and qualifying laps in. Both have done bin it or win it moves. Both are now consistant. And they communicate with engineers in a way that they can understand easily. (So Neil Spalding said)
Rossi didn't want Jorge in Yamaha, maybe because Jorge is so good.

There's a motoGP documentary/film about this season. 'Fastest' Dunno when it's released.

Apparently there's going to be a bit of footage from the test on Eurosport on Friday afternoon, presumably it'll be repeated over the weekend too. Cool

I wish the 800s didn't have another years life left, but all the same it has the ingredients to be a bloody good season next year. I'll be gutted if Rossi can't make the Duc work as a close fight between him, Stoner, Pedrosa and Lorenzo (and Spies?) would be quality.

It sounds like there will be 40+ riders in Moto2 again, so there's another year of chaos to look forward to there. Very Happy

I’ve always preferred Redding to Smith, Redding seems have more of the racers attitude, I think Smith is perhaps more skilful but just doesn’t have the aggression to up there mixing it with the front row week in week out. I haven’t caught as much of the Moto2 as I would have liked this year but it does look a lot more exciting especially with the numbers they have on the grid. I think Brad should have a good ride next year with it being the Tech 3 mob, would be nice if it provides a channel in to MotoGP. The guy I want to watch for is the other Brit in Moto2 next year, I’ve never heard of him but he seems to have some good credentials, certainly could be one to watch. I’m also really looking forward to see how Cal Crutchlow gets on, hopefully he won’t do a Toseland on us (I’m not even going to bother going on about Ellison!). I think it should be very exciting next year, a lot has been shaken up. I’m a big fan of Spies too, that should be good.

But yes, back on track, I thought the race was very entertaining, as much as Lorenzo is an arse he can certainly ride and done well to stay on, he would have been able to keep the associated kudos had he not shaken his head like a nobba!

All the best,

Joe

To be fair Ellison was always on a shit bike! Toseland didn't have that excuse. Here's hoping Cal can do far better than both of them.
