When I had a look at them, they seemed very well finished and put together wee motorcycles. MZ had a huge hangup about their reputation for reliability and build quality left over from the pre German reunification era and went to great lengths to make sure their bikes were up to scratch.
I had one of their 660cc street motos, The build quality and finish was superior to any Japanese bike I have owned (including my VFR).
One thing that might be an issue is the fact that MZ went bust (last year?) so check out the spares situation before you buy. BSA-Regal used to be the main importers for the UK. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen.
