I am chasing a tapping noise in my GPX, it sounds like a tappet but I've checked them all twice and its fine. Has anyone had any experience with a rubber buffer in the rocker cover causing a problem?

It's most likely the cam chain tensioner, give it a check. Make sure the plunger moves freely, if not then replace it Thumbs Up

ive had 2 of these in the past and canvouch the engine is nice n noisy,

i had mine checked over after a few wierd noises, the guy (kwak mechanic) told me its normal..

might be worth popping down to the nearest kwak dealer and asking one of the mechanics they will more than likley be honest as they know they wont get any money out of an older bike
