gilera dna 50cc no fuel getting to spark plug

iv just put a new piston and rings in my gilera dna 50cc two stroke and it wont start however i have sprayed carb cleaner into the carb and it fires up however it only runs if i continue spraying carb cleaner otherwise will just turn off straight away. i have checked and there is fuel getting into the carb and the carb was cleaned out recently and is fully working i have put a new spark plug in and it just seems to stay dry its not getting any fuel. can anyone help?

have you put the rings in correct,,
if water cooled wat was the o rings in head like did u change them,
as water gets onto piston

u say you strip carb to clean, is the choke stuck on

which o rings? i changed the headgasket, yes the rings were put in right as they have to locate in with the pins on the piston so u cant really go wrong with them. when i spray carb cleaner into the carb it starts up and runs fine but its basicly running on carb cleaner. if the 2 stroke system wasnt functutioning properly im sure it woudnt start right?

and after i cleaned the carb and refitted it the bike was running perfect until i stripped the engine to change rings and piston

Off the top of my head from my dna:

Vaccuum tap. Check theblack rubber (not clear fuel line) hose from the bottom of the fuel tank is plugged into the manifold as the suction opens the tap. Also check the one way (in line) fuel valve and the fuel pump is working
