If you did it a month ago when fitting the new c/s. Then just go by the turns on the adjusters.
Although after a month, the chain should not need adjusting unless you are not lubing it often enough.
140 miles should be nothing.
I think I would be more worried about the bulb going than the chain.... ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

When i put new chain and sprockets on my wee Gs i was having to adjust it VERY regularly. I bought a cheap set that wasn't D.I.D so i imagine thats why.
The set on the 350 though, i've had it for 8 months and done near enough 5k miles on it. I've not even had to touch the chain, although i might do soon. Its probably worth mentioning i have lubed this one more than my 125 but even so thats still fairly good going  ____________________ First bike: 1982 Suzuki Gs 125 'The beast MK1' > 1988 Honda Cb 350's' FOR SPORT! I would want to know what the clicking noise is, I'm always very wary of strange noises as they can be shortly followed by catastrophic failure If the wheel is moving when you tighten it up, it might be missing a washer somewhere. Have a look in the diagram in the parts manual and make sure you have all spacers/washers and they they're in the right place.
The surest way to measure wheel allignment is to measure from the swingarm pivt bolt to the axle. I usualy just measure from the front of the axle slot to the axle itself. As mentioned, you can't always rely on the adjuster marks but you can allign the wheel accurately and then make your own marks to use in the future. Measuring between the wheel rim and swingarm on both sides won't cut it as a lot of swingarms aren't symetrical. Only the wheel has to be central. |
