Don't know about "hard" but it's a bit involved. The crank will have to come out as the primary drive is central. I'd check the tensioner first. Those duplex chains are designed to run almost for ever, what's the mileage?
When it comes to purtting the motor back together, always clear the oil galleries well, esp the top end, and at least 3 times |

Neither are mine sadly, (I'd love another K2 or K6), this one was mine in the early eighties and was a great, very reliable bike. I never liked the SOHC F2, they seemed heavy and clumsy compared to the K2. Your DOHC F2 looks in good shape, I can't remember hearing any major faults with them at the time, the 900s were very popular.

My uncles got a cb900f2 (near enough exactly the same as the 750) and from what i remember, the cam chains had a habbit of chewing their way through the cam chain tunnel back in't day
Saying that you'll 'probably' be fine
It could have been an earlier year actually, but i think you're actually supposed to adjust the cam chain whilst the engines running.
EDIT: Sweet bike that . Original exhaust? ____________________ First bike: 1982 Suzuki Gs 125 'The beast MK1' > 1988 Honda Cb 350's' FOR SPORT! (Good ol' oil burner!) > 2001 Suzuki Sv 650 's' Made it out of the 80's! > 1997 Honda Cbr 600f :p |

My uncles got a 4 into 1 neta system on his, doesn't look particularly good though. I think the original spec is 4 into 2, And from what you've said it most likely is the original. I'd deffo go fo a chrome one, just for the epic shiny-ness ____________________ First bike: 1982 Suzuki Gs 125 'The beast MK1' > 1988 Honda Cb 350's' FOR SPORT!
