Picked this up yesterday after selling my tired 636 B1H, so much easier to ride fast.
Only thing i have planned is a de-cat to go with the akra slip-on.
Opinions welcome

Awesome colour scheme. Love the all-black paint. Thumbs Up

Plans you've got for it sound good. Doesn't need much else. Maybe paint the heel guards black to match bike and a rear hugger?

Yeah should be up there tomorrow.

Yeah it has less midrange, but the way it delivers its top end is incredible.

I had one of these, I put a full evo titanium akrapovic on it that was one of Hawk Kawasaki's spare systems for their race bikes, did actually notice the weight difference on the bike but it made the power delivery smoother so it never felt any faster Neutral

I went from a DRZ400SM to a ZX6R too Surprised

nice bud, how much did it set you back if you dont mind me asking?
I'm like the 07/08's but tempted with 05/06's because of the lower price and just as good performance.

funny because i also had a drz 400 aswell (hence name) Laughing

Was £4k, yeah i think 05/06 are slightly quicker, i read in a bike magazine its hard to get a good grip on the tank when leaning off though, whereas this is brilliant, got my kneedown the day i got it.

£600, it was an unused spare and that was a good price.

The evolution systems are Akrapovics top of the line exhausts, they retail for atleast £1200 last time I checked.

Omnomnom

If my Rieju were to ever leave this world short of its full life I would probably look at the 250cc Ninja in black. Bit more bite than a 125cc and not fuel guzzler.

Lewis, did you run a power commander alongside the evo system?

Nah I didn't have a power commander, you can screw the oxygen sensor right into the downpipes on the evo system and that adjusts the fueling automatically, it run great. I was thinking of getting one but I sold the bike.

Here is a rubbish pic of mine not long before it was sold, you can see the exhaust where the cat usually is, it went a cool blue/purple after a little while. If you get a full system you won't believe how heavy the cat and downpipes are Shocked

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v329/lewis203/101_0073-1.jpg

You can see I trimmed the black plastic side panel just above the rear brake reservoir because the akra can I had never had the bracket that the standard exhaust has, removed the passenger pegs and brackets and painted my heel plates black too. Put the single seat hump and hugger on it too Very Happy
