I've been OK with my blue flame cans since last July. I have to regularly stop outside a police station at traffic lights on my way home, I just pull off very gently. ____________________ Current bike: VTR1000F Firestorm. Bandit with a stubby Beowulf can and no baffle, never had any problems in the last year-and-a-half
[edit]... although I tend to re-fit the baffle for MOT - and even with the baffle fitted, I got an advisory on the most recent test about the noise level ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N

First thing I always do is take the baffle out, where's the fun in baffles?
Keeping baffles in an exhaust is like being offered a free blowjob off a hot bird and then putting a condom on, It's just not logical. ____________________ |--Previous--|:2007 Aprilia SX50... --Current--|: 2007 Kawasaki ER-6N
SlimRick - I can cook really well - but it's a useless skill, as I'm not a woman and it's their fucking job! |

Baffles you ask?
NO
Pulled twice on that bike... the first time the exhausts megaphones weren't even mentioned..
The second time I was followed by an unmarked viffer, when he stopped me I managed to convince him that I had a better understanding of the law than he did...
So he kindly let me on my way, saying he didn't want to hear them again |
