I've been given model 5050, does anyone bother using the detergent sections for cleaning bike, or is it best to spray bike first and leave for 10 mins .. like i did before last jetwash froze .. ____________________ BLUEX5 wrote: Good to have you back covdude.

My routine is normally:
> spray wheels/swingarm with Muc-off just to help get some of the shit off.
> wash with shampoo (atm have turtlewax with extra wax!..Asda Special )
> spray with hose (have a jetwasher, but most of the time cba to use it when the hose is already there and ready to go)
> rub down with chamois
> run engine to get out any water from the exhausts
Sorted.
Never owned anything with enough bodywork to worry about waxing/polishing.. ____________________ Bike: Currently Bikeless... Gahh |

on the cars ....Super snow foam dispensed from a decent foamer..
have a brew and a fag whist it does its thing, then get to it with the lance
Not quite a touchless wash as I usually have to use the noodle mitt and some wash n wax stuff, followed by a rinse and a silicone dryer blade and a toweling...occasionally followed up by a carnuba wax polish
I have definately stopped putting fresh swirls on the cars since doing this and they always end up looking like the have actually been cleaned...at least for a few hours
(never buying another black car again)
Am contemplating buying some half decent truckwash for the DR250 to see if it works at getting the ingrained cack and oil fling off - have heard it can discoulour if left on too long though
GPZ500 - hand washed only- yes its got swirls in the laquer already after only a couple of washes since the repaint
I wish it didn't bother me
Regards

Need to open the thing, been looking on google for ages, i need a long torx screwdriver, but don;t know what size t10 / 20 // ?? and if the torx are tamper proof, some say they are some say their not ...
It works ok, but i want to try and get it fixed and have it back to its former glory .. without taking to repair shops that charge the earth, need to open it, find issue, buy part .. fit ... WIN .. ____________________ BLUEX5 wrote: Good to have you back covdude.
