going to MCN tomorrow in peterbourgh but whats the best way to get there? And please remember i cant go on motorways!

The A1 south of Blyth services isn`t motorway, so you could ride a ped down the A1 all the way to peterborough. only between Redhouse and Blyth its classed as motorway.
so you have several options:
Cross country on A roads & join the A1 at blyth - Wakefield - Barnsley - doncaster and run parallel with the A1 and join the A1 at Blyth,
or Wakefield - Barnsley/Sheffield then head towards worksop. Pick up the A57 worksop bypass and join the A1 at 5 lane ends.

If you really want to avoid the A1 altogether then your going to have a very conveluted ride indeed

headed out of wakie towards donny, then towards bawtry then onto the A1 - but fuck me thats one boaring road!
