Hello everyone!

Well after a little recovery I've got a new project. Me and my 1998 CB250 had a little accident. Anyway the right clutch cover has been smashed to bits. I would just go on ebay or to the wreckers but 1998 CB250W parts are scarce, so I was wondering what years/models parts are interchangable with mine? I might even get a whole engine.

Thanks in advance!

Am I right in thinking that this is the CB Two-Fifty, the 233cc, single carbed 'Benley' Based twin?

If so its a Benley engine, and the cases etc are black painted versions of those used on the 12v model CD-Benleys, & CM 'custom' or Rebel models, and the CB125TD... though that has twin ignition pickups in the generator cover, and some of the CD/CM covers have holes for the kickstart shaft, if they are off earlier variants.

Yes! The 233cm air cooled single carbed! Not sure if is a Benley based. (I'm a kawasaki man, no idea when it comes to Hondas =D) The problem is honda likes to make "changes" little changes that no one would notice until they buy the wrong part...You can still see where the kickshaft would go on the side cover as well as in the gear case. Any idea of what years are interchangable?

Not a clue.
As far as I'm aware the crank cases are the same from the earliest 6v Benlies with centre cam chain, around 1975 onwards, hence the flange and stud paterns are the same.
Pretty sure that the clutch mechanism and everything else is pretty much untouched accross the range since they went 12v and dropped the kick starter.

Find part no for cover you want, then when you find something that looks likely, do the same for the bike offering it up & compare numbers.
