I've decided my bike sounds shit with the stock exhaust so am going to buy a new one.

I am looking at a Scorpion

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KAWASAKI-ER6F-ER6N-VERSYS-SCORPION-EXHAUST-S-STEEL-OVAL-/110662798028?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item19c4044acc#ht_1253wt_1396

and an SP Engineering jobby

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ER6-N-ER6-F-VERSYS-06-11-STAINLESS-MOTO-GP-STUBBY-EXHAUST-CAN-LINK-PIPE-BAFFLE-/280810286886?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item416198ef26

I just want something that sounds good, baffle in and out, but have no idea about this stuff.

Any help anyone can give me will be gratefully received.

Cheers.

I've always used Akrapovic on my bikes....lovely sound and very good quality.

Out of those two, I would strongly recommend the Scorpion over the "SP Engineering". I use "'s because there isn't any engineering in making the simple, crap cans that they do. The Scorpion is very well put together and with the made to fit baffle, will control the noise better. The parallel twin noise is pretty darn loud with a race can so you want to be able to quieten it down a little if you find it a bit too much.

Scorpian seems to get good reviews, funny enough I was looking it up myself last night for my ER6 after I was advised to change the stock can for one or an akrapovic by a police motorcyclist I was chatting to yesterday when I stopped for a cuppa on a ride out, apparently he put a scorpian on his wifes ER6 , he reckons its a lot lighter and helps smooth out the engine across the rev range.

Have a look here to get other owners views on cans for the ER6.
