Computers in German lessons?

When I were a lad, we have books and paper and pens, computers where for IT lessons only and then they where only BBC's and a few Acorns. Rolling Eyes

Kids today don't know they're born. Laughing

Welcome by the way, but afraid I can't help.

Ahhh I had my very own BBC computer at home.

I spent hours on it making games in BASIC - got quite good in the end, managed to make some good graphical games too!

I remember having to save games and load them to a tape drive, it used a normal cassette tape and made a brilliant squaking noise when playing it back into the computer to load it, until when dad bought a floppy disc drive home from work, that was a god send!

To try and haul it back on topic:

Any good 50cc tuning or good pictures website's?
im getting a rs 50 soon! so im looking about

www.bikepics.com is probably the best bike pictures website, it'll have loads of RS 50's on there.

www.bikez.com is good for peoples opinions on the bikes, and specifications of them.

How old are you now?

Hi

Elite on the BBC was good, better than the Spectrum version. Both were amazing when you consider that the programs were tiny, taking about the same storage as 4 avatars from on here.

There is an online Java Spectrum emulator somewhere.

I had a 48k Spectrum, complete with rubber keyboard. I upgraded that to an Amstrad 6128 with the luxury of a 3" floppy disk drive. Pity the disks cost so much. Rumour has it that they were designed as the 3.5" disk was too large to fit in a standard Japanese mail envelope, but the standard bombed and Amstrad bought the drives up cheaply.

I still have 3 Atari STs floating around.

All the best

Keith

I just bought a joystick thing that you plug into your telly and has 10 old-skool Atari games contained within.

Centipede, Gravitar, Asteroids, Missile Command, Breakout, Real Sports Volleyball, Yar's Revenge, Circus Atari, Adventure and Pong. Thumbs Up Cool

Well I have an Amiga A500+ which is kept very lovingly in my loft along with about 100 games. I also have an Amiga CD32 with about 15 games which rocks. I am on the lookout for some cheap games for it on Ebay actually.

A also (somewhere) have a Commodore VIC 20 which has a *massive* 3k of ram. Thats like 1000 times less than my mobile phone has or something!

On top of that I have a B+W Gameboy and a MegaDrive! Retro systems rock! Cool

I've still got my amiga 500+ along with more then 300 disks and the second floppy drive which you really had to have as a lot of the games were over 3 disks. Some of them had more then 15!
I think my uncles still got a CD32, can't remember what games he had or if he even plays it but I can ask him what he's got and if he wants to sell if your interested.
