Take note of where any spacers go with respect to any other bits, in fact, what I do is thread any bits the spindle goes through, back on to the spindle in the order they go on, and the right way around. The CB500 has a drum brake doesn't it? You might find you can get the brake plate out without having to remove it from the torque arm, if you're careful, and avoid having to put a new split-pin through the bolt, if it uses one.  |

If it's a disc rear brake, something to push the pistons back in with (either levering them against the back of a pad or wind them in with a g-clamp).
