I don't really know much about motorbikes, all I've done Is refill the tank of petrol, changed oil & recharged the battery over night. It still Isn't starting & I have no Idea what to do apart from going to the mechanics.

Here Is a video of me trying to start It up - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5hRO89Acno

Check it's getting fuel and producing a spark.

Does it have an immobiliser?

Try giving it a little twist on the throttle while turning the engine over.

They were my first thoughts, I'll go & attempt to check them later.

When I remove the seat there Is an immobiliser, It's all been connected but I don't think It works.

I wasn't using the throttle much In the video, but I have been turning the throttle a bit when trying to start It.

Is the fuel turned on?

Does it have a manual choke?

You could also try removing the air filter, just to see if it will fire up.

Tried bump starting it. Have you got 2 stroke oil in there.

Also, take the spark plug out and put your thumb over the hole, press the starter button, does it try to blow your thumb away from the hole?

ok . lift your tank (foxeye) or get access to the plug , take off your plug , connect it to the cap , let it laying on the head then key on and push start button for 4-5 seconds while looking your plug . if you see a blueish spark , it's ok otherwise you may have a stator problem (burned or grounded ignition coils , eventually impulse coil faulty)

i said take off plug ! then connect it to the cap !
the piece on top of the plug is necessary to be unscrewed otherwise you cant connect the cap
in case , use BR9EIX instead of BR9ECS

Looks ok to me. But without the HT lead on you will get nothing.

Remove plug, clip HT lead onto the plug, lay plug across top of engine, presss starter and see if there is a spark.
Do not touch the plug while turning the engine over or you will get an electric shock.

Ah, I see what you mean now. Do I need a wrench to unscrew It?

If you have the took kit for the bike, you should have a spark plug socket.

I don't have It anymore, the owner I bought off said the previous owner had lost It. What can I use as a substitute? Or should I buy a new one?

It will be awkward without a plug socket. not much room to get a spanner in to.

This is a plug socket:

Just looked, haven't got a spanner big enough, wrench Is too big to get It off so I suppose I'll have to buy one specifically for the sparkplug, may as well buy a spark plug while I'm at It just In case.

Is this one fine https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0012M7N9Q/ref=s9_simh_gw_p263_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0PSD55TJDZJN6P3SQ5VP&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467128533&pf_rd_i=468294

It need to be the same size as the spark plug. So if your saprk plug is 21mm then the socket has to be 21mm.
