Whats the idle speed like? If it's too fast, a tad throttle can cut off the engine. Check it out Thumbs Up Had this issue with a friends bike and was the idle speed all along, may not be the same in your case but it's worth a butchers.

All the best

Have you tried resetting/altering the air mixture? Also have you checked out your fuel tank vent or fuel tap?

Check the filter and maybe reset your air mixture screw (if you have one) this may have loosened causing too much or too little air in.

Have a look at your jets, rollers and spark. Also check your manual about how many turns your air mixture should be on and if it's not stated call Yamaha and ask, if checked you MAY have it screwed on too loose/tight.

Post a picture of your spark, it may be worn
