Slightly concerned / interested about what the settings should be on my front forks

If i look at the two screws on top of the yoke they are at different heights, one appears to be screwed in more than the other, is this how it's meant to be?

Also, the two screws at the bottom of the forks, next to the wheel bolts, they are also at different levels, just like at the top, is this how it should be too?

The bike is a 97' zx6r.

I'd put them back to the standard settings before doing anything then go from there.

That linked page looks like it might have the correct settings on it.

thanks for that, those settings check out with another resource.

I found somewhere else that what you see shouldnt matter too much in regards to the level of the screws, it's the amount of clicks that's important, so i may be overreacting.

Will set to stock and go from there.

Just to double check....

Bottom adjusters are the compression.

What ones on the top are the preload and the rebound??

The pin the in the middle or the larger head around it, which is which?

That's right.

The preload is the large spanner sized ring on the top, and the rebound is the small screw/allen screw in the middle of that.
