the broken or damaged stuff gets chucked in the skip or weighed in if its metal
undamaged stuff will sell eventually

this is the back end im going to use its off an fzr and has been braced so will/should bolt right on
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10249.jpg

as you can see it holds a much wider 190 wheel and tyre rather than the standard 150
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10250.jpg
r1 or maybe r6 back end bolted on wasnt much of an issue to do to be honist the hardest part was lining the pillion seat to same heaght as top of tank i do like things to follow a line
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10263.jpg
like so

no pics to update with at the moment
today ive been trying to get the bike to run properly it starts and ticks over and even revs cleanly the thing is on the over run it pops and shoots out flames im hoping this is due to lack of an airfilter so monday will be refitting the filter and trying again take things from there any other ideas?
other than that ive stripped an africatwin engine for parts and built some racking so i can get some sort of order in the unit
work on scrapfighter will continue monday all being well

so today i had to sort out lots of stripped threds 2 on top yoke and a few on the frame
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10344.jpg
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10345.jpg
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10346.jpg

also made a start on relocating the wiring got most of the front wiring done just got to sort out the wiring under the seat
i also fitted the airbox and air filter it now runs 100% better
made a small video of it running but it sounds rough as hell inb vid due to the dodgy camara and the aqustics boucing off the walls but you get the idea
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZQOM1wqODM

im going to compleatly build the bike then once its done and everythings done and working/fitting properly it will be compleatly stripped frame powder coated body work painted engine stripped of the dodgy brush paint and so on

today i fitted longer throttle cables so i can now turn the bars without reving the bollocks off it these cables were kindly donated by an xrv750 africatwin i broke a few months ago no pics there just cables
i then changed the master brake and clutch cylinders for some rf900 items i had on the shelf and stripped the paint off the b/m/c and started to polish
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10374.jpg
paint stripped
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10375.jpg
started polishing but only had the soap that was left on the mop as i had left soap at home in shed so will have to finish that tomorrow
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10376.jpg
next i went to fit the brembo brakes but not a chance without making up some brackets but being as this is a SCRAP fighter spending money on parts kinda defeats the object so i hunded around and found these tatty calipers
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10363.jpg
hmmmm niiiiccce! Sick
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10364.jpg
being as there bluespot and i beleave there ment to be a good caliper? i decided to clean them up
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10365.jpg
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10367.jpg
thinners and a wire brush saw to the hard to reach places
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10369.jpg?t=1283892769
then i went over to the powder coaters and releaved them of some primer and heat proof black paint
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10370.jpg
https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/mad4it028/SDC10371.jpg
thats all i did to the scarpfighter today other than that i cleaned up an rf900 engine ready for a custormer to colloect stripped the gearbox out of an xrv750 and came home

i thinkj its the light out of line the only thing stopping me ripping the wbike to bits and powder coating and painting polishing ect is the fabricators are taking there time with the exhaust so at the moment everything is on off on off so i want to make sure everything works and fits right before i make it look pretty at the moment its all silly jobs that take hours .
maybe once everything is stripped and all parts looking like new i'll get more interest .
bah what ever i shall keep posting regardless Thumbs Up
