when starting from cold full choke only speeds up engine speed to around 1500rpm but when choke is pushed off slightly to about half way engine revs go up to around 3500rpm, after a couple of mins once warm and choke is backed off engine runs ok ish but with slight popping can be heard and tickover is 900/1000rpm up and down, if you twist throttle engine will miss slightly and if you keep blipping the gas it will stutter and then backfire also smells quite rich on the exhaust gasses.

Also at slow speed in first gear its hard to maintain a steady speed

Any one got any info on this

Thanks

Youd have better luck in the workshop section *facepalm*

Drain all the float bowls (look for little bolts sticking out the side of the bottom of the carbs). Probably water in there.

Summat like this, youll need to do all 4 on your blandit.
