Mine are plastic / ruberry things, and i can see they need gaps refilling. What do i use, and could this be an issue that caused stuttering in the rev ranges due to too much air getting into the mix.

2T 125 naked mito btw. Ta Smile

Thumbs Up Karma

Put a bead of silicone round the outside that'll seal it fine.
Small gaps shouldn't be letting that much extra air in to have much of an efffect on the running but at least you'll know when you've sealed it.

Any type really for that bit of a job, be cheaper and good enough to get some domestic bath/window type from a DIY place. If you want to get the better stuff you can get silicone gasket sealer from a Motor Factor place or even Sikaflex.

Hi

That should seal them, but I wouldn't expect a minor leak there to cause any issue at all. The difference in the mixture will be tiny (it is still going to go through the air filter)

Above assumes that it is the snorkel into the airbox that is in question, rather than the pipe from the airbox to the carb.

All the best

Keith
