125cc Vulcan not starting

Hi.
My bro in laws Vulcan 125 will not start we have
1. got a new spark plug, coil and htc cable
2. charged the battery
3. checked all electrics (they all work)
4. checked carb and cleaned it.

When we try to start the bike from start it engine just wont start same with kick start, but when we bum it the engine TRYS to turn over how ever it will not. There are no mods on the bike.

do you have a spark at the plug? when did the bike last run?

Tried flushing the system and fresh fuel?
Tried turning it over a bit without the plug in to make sure it'd not flooded?
Tried touching the spark plug side against the engine when kicking it over to see if there's a spark?
made sure the float height is correct, the jets aren't blocked, the carb is sealed on properly, checked throttle cable slack, checked the choke isn't stuck on?
IF all else fails you might need to compression test it, but thats probablyt he last thing you'll need to try.

Yes it has spark.
we cleaned the carb.
tried it with out the spark in it.
checked choke cable, it is cut, so you just trun it on and off at the carb, and throttle it fine.
and i think jets are fine
what ells d you think it could be

worked out the problem, we "think" it is the rods in the head of the engine that push the exhaust vale and in take vale one was broken so ordered new ones and gona give the bike an oil change thanks guys

It was the push rods we put the new ones is with some new oil and she runs fine thanks guys.
