It just lights up i.e showing the spark, that way you know if you've got a spark Very Happy

I don't know if it should glow only or flicker, wether i need to see a consistent of either. It's a silverline tester with no instructions.

I was told that the best way to use one of these testers is to employ an additional wire with one end connected to the uninsulated part that goes into the plug cap and the other end connected to your knackers. I'm not sure whether or not this information is correct but you could maybe give it a try.

Caus if i test the spark on the cylinder head, i will blow the bike up Cool

You have some suggestions for cdi testing, or are you talking about cdis that you can plug into to diagnose.
