Just checked the BBC website for the 5 day forecast and it says that the weather today is cloudy with rain drizzle?? Looking out of the window here it's bloody sunny (cold but sunny).

Anyone know a more accurate website to check the weather??

Mucho Appreciato,

Mike.

Well it just started raining here in Edinburgh for the first time in over a week. It's been sunny mostly up here. Perfectly timed for the fire alarm at work that just went off 30 minutes ago. Had to go out and stand in it for 20 minutes there. Mad

Edit: https://www.met-office.gov.uk/ is this what you're after?

I've found that the Yahoo weather service is usually quite accurate

don't bother with weather.co.uk I can't remember the last time I saw anything other than rain predicted for where I live. They sometimes change the site on the day if they are wildly incorrect but I don't call that a forecast.

Must say the beeb is the best I've found.

Alternatively,

you could just continue with the tried and tested method of looking out of the window! Very Happy

BBC news said they were having trouble predicting it right now, and that it was pretty random.

The BBC haven't got a clue, we've been trying to check the weather for our Cruise on sunday, but they change it everyday, now they are saying hail! ITV can't do any better, they are saying sun. I've given up and just going to see how its looking at 4:55.

Rolling Eyes Its not a cruise, its a rideout! If you want to 'cruise' then buy a cruiser or buy a nova.

Please please please change it to rideout!

If anyone happens to have a weather crystal ball on them I'd love to know what the weather is going to be like on Tuesday. I'm picking the bike up from the dealers that day. Unless its slinging it down with rain, then I'm going to leave it for a day or so. My first ride back on it in the pouring rain down part of the A1 and M1 isn't my idea of fun.
Especially not with the looney reps gunning for a lap time on the way to their next meeting. Rolling Eyes

And yes, I know I'll have to look out of the window on Tuesday morning to know for sure. I'm just bored and can't wait! Wink

It's a cruise. I mean, come on... it starts in a McDonalds carpark, and then they all go on peds round the town making noise and looking crap. And they have neons.

It's a cruise. Middle Finger Neutral Thumbs Down

If you want a really good weather site go to https://www.metcheck.com, they were great on the day it snowed here in London a few weeks ago. I was able to track the snow front through their site and calculated that if I left my office at 4.20pm I would get home just before it snowed. Literally, as I manouvered the bike into the driveway, the blizzard began at 5.02pm!

I like www.wunderground.com as it's generally quite accurate. Don't be put off by the big US map, it covers virtually everywhere.

The best site for weather has to be www.meto.gov.uk. I think most of the UK sites get their data from them anyway so you might as well get it first. Failing that the weather channel website seems quite good.

I live in Scotland. The (only) good thing about our weather is that if you don't like it, just wait half an hour and it'll bloody change again!!! Laughing
