Hi Guys,
Im after a gold chain, mainly for appearances as my current chain is red (its an RK coloured chain) and my paintjob is no longer red, its gold.

I dont want to break the bank spending silly money on a chain, my current chain works fine but stands out abit.
Im hoping to spend <£50, the cheaper the better, the engine is only small so the chain wont be under much strain.

Is this ok for a sports bike? Is the cheapest O-Ring one i can see, the others are all MX chains (non O-ring i think).

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/520-Heavy-Duty-O-Ring-Gold-Chain-120-links-Special-Deal-/150644645586?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item23131eded2#ht_879wt_800

The bike is a Hyosung GT125R and the chain required is 520x112.

Any info/links is great Smile

Some are O-Ring and some are non O-ring.

Does it make much difference?

Get yourself a DID X-Ring if you can, haven't adjusted mine in 3000miles since it was put on and it's still not loose, your bike doesn't have the power to stretch them really, so any would do.

Standard roller chain needs more regular cleaning then o-ring chain, that's the main difference, as o-rings help crap out of the rollers.

an o-ring will last about 3times longer than a normal chain atleast so in the time youve bought 3 normal chains it will cost the same as an o-ring and you will have a lot for adjusting to the non o-ring, bit of a false economy really

Non-oring chains are actually a better match for chain oilers I reckon as o-rings are also good at keeping new lube out!
