Posted: 16:54 - 27 Mar 2007 Post subject: Closest Petrol Station to Cadwell? |
 |
|
I'm doing a trackday at Cadwell on Saturday and wondered if anyone could tell me where the nearest/quickest to get to petrol station is to the place? Also, how many miles am I likely to be doing in a 20 minute session?
Thanks |

If Scamblesby is closed, turn right out the track and follow the road to Louth. At the crossroads after 3-5mins turn left onto the main road and down/up the dual carriageway. Straight on at next island, right at the next and take the right turn 50 yards after the island. You'll see the garage from then. It's about 10mins from Cadwell.
A full tank on arrival will see you through till lunch, then fill up during the 1hr40m break. (1hr lunch, 40min till your session).
Have fun |

Thanks for your help everyone . My girlfriend's going in the car aswell now, and I've got a jerry can in the garage I didn't know I had and apparently she has one aswell so we'll fill them up too.
Thanks for the directions Cillit, the info about the Hornet Jay, and about the petrol in the tank Bendy: I've never bothered to look any more than vertical at that plate in the tank (from sat on the seat) so I just assumed it went all the way back. The bike is normally very well behaved with regards to fuel consumption and doesn't vary wildly regardless of the trip it's doing (blast round twisties, motorway or inner city commuting) so I've only sloshed the petrol around a handful of times. I know when it's full, when it's half empty and when it's running on fumes
