These thingys :

I was wondering if they cause a lot of condensation and stuff. For them that cant fit a garage into the garden, I wonder if its a better compromise than a normal rain cover. Theres a few different types now varying from £60-£150. |

I've got the Dri-Top cover.

So much better than an ordinary cover, you do get condensation inside but as the cover is not in contact with the bike you just get the odd drip. I would recommend getting one.

I have this one...
https://www.feelgooduk.net/39-motorbike-motorcycle-cover-bike-home-shelter-garage.html
Its bolted down to a 10x4 row of slabs outside.
It serves its purpose pretty well. Bear in mind I live in Scotland in a high village east of Glasgow (snow in July is not un common).
Haven't had an issue with condensation, although im normally good at opening the vents until she is cool.
1. It blows about in the wind a little. This is allowing the bottom of the tent to rub the slabs under the bottom poles and is slowly wearing the fabric away.
2. The security points arent the strongest.
3. The velcro on the windows is shit. Replace with the £1 roll from tesco and job done.
Id recommend it. Try ebay first as I got mine delivered for £70. ____________________ Gone: Haotian HT125-8 / Yamaha YZF 600R Thundercat / Kawasaki ZX9R C2

So 'technically' you could now tell your Insurance your bike is Garaged then?
I mean, it meets the definition and you don't have to say it's made of Polyester ____________________ My Lane Position is always AWESOME!! |
