I've had Akito textiles in the past, and currently have an RST textile jacket - and I'd gladly recommend both.
However, for prolonged rides in heavy rain I have a waterproof over-suit that I bought from Go Outdoors ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N

I popped down to the local bike shop yesterday to have a look at jackets and got myself the RST Raptor in the sand colour ;
https://www.rst-moto.com/index.php/products-details/moto_rst_3_4_waterproof_raptor_textile_jacket/
I paid £115 for it so went a little over budget but it seems like a pretty well made jacket, very comfortable and a much better fit for me than my current jacket, it also has a decent back protector in it.
Hopefully it will stand up to the weather ok, it has a built in face mask which is a nice touch, I'll probably pop a review up after a few weeks of use.
Cheers

Looks decent, I was going to suggest that you go for something with a removable liner, rather than the cheaper RST Alpha aove with a fixed one.
I like the face mask idea - my RST Enduro has a neck flap, but it's not quite tall enough to obviate the need for separate neck covering. I'd be interested to hear how the Raptor works out in practice. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
