I'm trying to remove the rear wheel from my GZ125 to change the chain. I've removed the axle bolt, brake linkage and torque nut. The manual says to "draw out" the axle itself, but I can't get it to move. A tap with a hammer seemed to make no difference. How do I get it out?

So, had another look and it seems the axle is very tight inside the right-hand side of the brake drum (where the brake lever is); it's almost impossible to turn the axle while holding that in place. That doesn't seem normal.

It's on a paddock stand and I've given it a fair tap with a hammer and a block of wood, didn't make any difference.

Well, I gave it a good whack with a hammer and it came out a little bit, but something's definitely not right. I plan to p/x the bike pretty soon so I think I'll just whack it back in and let the dealer sort it out.
