I dont think it sounded like this before but not sure if its normal or not.
GZ125, when i slow down from about 30mph or more, i can hear a tinny tapping sound. The sound stops if i pull the clutch in. It only does it when slowing down never when im accelerating.
Tappets are correct, chain correctly tightened. Is this normal?

If the bike's ticking over can you still hear it?
As it disappears when you pull the clutch in I would guess that it's more engine related than gearbox etc.
You can narrow it down by putting a long screwdriver to your ear (blunt end!) and putting the other end on various (non moving) bits of the engine.
Or you could get one of these which are a little easier to use Smile

No it doesnt happen when just ticking over, just at a certain speed as it slows down.

I would check your clutch basket and see if the dogs are slack.
Also look at the Centre bolt, to see if it is torqued up properly

Never heard a clutch make the sound the OP is describing, you usually get a "rumble" from the clutch such as on a lot of Hondas and it goes when you pull the clutch in and never causes any other problem, on others it's always there.
Check the exhaust header/collar to make sure it isn't loose that can tap on and off load but other than that it's as suggested earlier go over it with a stethoscope/screwdriver to the ear to try and narrow it down more, rev it and see if you can hear something.
