If you could have one gift this Christmas for your motorcycle, what would it be and why?

For me it would be a 125 engine for the Derbi

An engine rebuild.

It's OK, but it's getting a bit tired and I'd like to remedy the dodgy paint job that someone did on it (one side is black, the other isn't).

Only problem is, with a fresh motor and all the little bits I'm planning over the next few weeks, I'd be tempted into a full on resto job and with my track record, it would probably never get finished.

A set of mid 90's 3 spoke Magnesium Dymag wheels. They are the last thing I want (not need) for my bike to finish it off. I cant (apart from if i ever win the lottery) justify the cash they would cost.

Do you have a steering damper and boot detector? Wink

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind a new set of fairings or a respray.

A two-tone flip paint job, full stainless exhaust and someone to clean the wheels properly for the Zeph, a custom paint job based on my favourite rock band and a chrome "suzuki" radiator cover for the VS800 and a screen that actually deflects the wind instead of leaving me sitting in a pool of turbulence for Elvis.

I dreampt that my mum had got me a R1200, even had a ribbon tied around it! Strange since It's a bike I've never considered and I haven't even started DAS training yet.

Mrs pinky is of the opinion that I do not need a new zorst as there is a perfectly good one already on the bike.

The fact that a new one would help boost a tiny teeny bit more power out of the bike and it would make the thing sound like thunder is completely irrelevant to her.
