 |
|
So, I currently have one of those cheap, universal, 40something litre top boxes from ebay for lugging stuff about and leaving some kit on the bike (can fit my helmet and jacket in it then carry around my boots in a bag)
but now I would like panniers after seeing this https://www.sportbikerider.us/index.cfm?P=ShowPicture&Picture_ID=465661
because when my girlfriend comes on the back for days out there's quite a bit of kit to carry around so would like some more storage space.
I've been searching all over the net and can only find the Hepco & Becker frame and boxes. The frame is £220 and 2 boxes are £300!
Does anybody know of a cheaper option? Thanks! ____________________ 2000 Suzuki GN125 (Sold) - 1989 Kawasaki GPZ600R (Sold) - 2010 Yamaha XJ6N (Sold) - 2004 Triumph Daytona 600 (Sold) - 1994 GSXR750 Cafe Racer |

This looks up your street.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/nonfango-TOP-BOXES-AND-PANNIERS-/270880592020?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3f11bdd094
The universal rack in it ought to fit, and the other racks it comes with one of them should fit with some light bodging.
The mount points are under the footpegs and on the grab rail, the third mount point is to itself.
So me thinks all you need is a bar of steel to make the front bit fit on. ____________________ "It's easy to attack and destroy an act of creation. It's a lot more difficult to perform one" |
