As has been said many a time on here 'anything can be done if you throw enough money at it!'.
Yes you could probably do it (if there is a 12v version of the bike), but you would have to change the entire electrical system (wiring loom, bulbs, coil and all the electrical stuff associated with the engine, relays and so on). A lot of work and money. ____________________ XX XXXx

it has been done, well I have myself and the wiring can cope with 12v as they run under at a much lower load than 6v.
I have done almost the full hog with the 12v conversion as an experiment.
You need a cheapo 12v reg/rec and a 12v battery and then 12v bulbs of course!
I can't be arsed (sorry!) to go through the whole procedure but I'll link you to the other forum where it was talked in depth for a Yamaha RXS100. The GP is very similar.
