What bike is it ???

most 2 strokes with a power valve, if they were leaking air you would hear a significant increase in exhaust noise. IF you think its leaking, take the cover off and get some gasket material (not the liquid stuff) or a cereal box and make a new gasket.

if your going to use gasket paper or cereal box, take the cover off, clean it, then put your finger in the power valve area and get some black sticky stuff on it.. then wipe it on the sealing area of the power valve cover, after you have applied a thin layer all over set the power valve cover onto the cardboard and press down for a second.. pull it away and you have a template, all you need to do now is cut it out with a razor blade.

hope this helps.
